Your Reels Just Got Bingeable: Meet Instagram’s New Series Feature

Just when we thought we had our Reels strategy figured out, Instagram gave us another feature to keep an eye on.
Meta is currently testing a new feature called Series with select creators, and it could change the way businesses organize and share Reels. Instead of posting a Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and hoping people can track down the rest, Series is designed to group related Reels together as episodes inside one organized collection.
Think less “Wait… where’s Part 1?” and more “Start here and keep watching.”
What Is Instagram Series?
Instagram Series allows related Reels to live together in one collection, complete with a dedicated page on a creator’s profile.
For businesses that regularly create educational content, tutorials, recurring features or multi-part videos, this could make it much easier for followers to work their way through your content without digging through your entire profile.
The feature is still being tested, so it may not be available to everyone yet. But the strategy behind it? You can start using that now.
A Better Viewing Experience
One of the biggest advantages of Series is simply making your content easier to navigate.
With the feature, viewers may be able to find every episode in one place, watch them in the correct order, pick up where they left off and even save an entire Series for later. They may also be able to open the full collection from any individual episode.
No more profile scavenger hunt required.
That matters because your audience isn’t always discovering your content chronologically. Someone could find Episode 6 before they ever see Episode 1. Giving them an easy path to the rest of the content makes it much more likely they’ll keep watching.
Series Could Be Great for Brand Awareness
Every episode gives someone another opportunity to discover your business.
A viewer might stumble across one Reel, head to the full Series and watch several more. Suddenly, one piece of content has turned into multiple touchpoints with your brand.
Over time, that can mean stronger recognition around the topics you talk about, more opportunities to build trust and another reason for your audience to come back when the next episode drops.
One Reel can grab attention. A strong Series can build familiarity.
Start Thinking in Episodes Now
You don’t need access to the official Series feature to start creating your content this way.
Choose one useful topic and break it into multiple connected Reels. Use consistent covers, titles and episode numbers so someone landing on your profile can immediately tell which videos belong together.
The goal is to make the connection obvious.
For example, rather than squeezing everything you know about one topic into a single Reel, turn it into a short sequence where each video answers one question or covers one step.
This makes your content easier to follow while giving you more opportunities to talk about topics that matter to your audience.
Instagram Series Ideas for Businesses
Not sure what deserves its own Series? Start with something you could naturally talk about more than once.
A few ideas include:
Frequently asked questions
Product or service breakdowns
Weekly tips within your industry
Client transformations
Behind-the-scenes project updates
Launch countdowns
Step-by-step tutorials
Recurring local guides
Keep your topic specific enough that viewers immediately understand what the Series is about—and why they should watch the next episode.
Don’t Forget About Accessibility
Organizing content into a Series can also make information easier to find, follow and revisit.
That can be especially helpful for someone who discovers your account halfway through a topic, misses an earlier video or simply needs information broken into smaller pieces.
But organization is only one piece of making your content accessible. Captions, readable on-screen text, clear audio and helpful visuals still matter.
The easier you make your content to consume, the easier it becomes for more people to connect with what you’re sharing.
What This Means for Your Reels Strategy
Even while Instagram continues testing Series, there’s a useful takeaway for businesses right now: stop treating every Reel like it has to stand completely on its own.
Some of your best topics probably deserve more than 30 seconds.
Creating connected content gives you a chance to go deeper without overwhelming viewers in one video, and it gives your audience a reason to keep coming back.
Start with one topic. Turn it into a few episodes. Make the connection between them clear. Then see how your audience responds.
Because apparently our Reels aren’t just scrollable anymore. They’re becoming bingeable.
