Walking for a Cause: Get Social With Cait Gives Back at Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
A little pink, a lot of heart, and a morning well spent! 💗
Our latest Get Social With Cait team outing looked a little different from our usual adventures around the Treasure Valley. This time, we traded our laptops and content calendars for volunteer duties at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Boise!
And we couldn't have been happier to be part of it.
Showing Up for Our Boise Community
The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk brings people together to raise awareness, celebrate survivors, honor loved ones, and support the fight against breast cancer.
For our team, it was an opportunity to step away from our everyday work and give back to a community that means so much to us.
We spent the event helping check in participants, handing out freebies, and welcoming everyone who came out to support the cause. From greeting walkers to helping things run smoothly, we loved getting to play a small part in such a meaningful event.
And while handing out goodies is always fun, the best part was knowing we were contributing to something much bigger than ourselves.
More Than Just a Team Outing 💕
At Get Social With Cait, we're all about connection. Usually, that means helping businesses tell their stories and build relationships through social media. But sometimes, the most meaningful connections happen when we put our phones down and show up in person.
Volunteering together gave our team another opportunity to spend time outside the office, support our neighbors, and be reminded of the power of community.
It was a morning filled with teamwork, purpose, and plenty of pink!
Small Acts, Big Impact
You don't have to do something huge to make a difference. Sometimes, it's as simple as giving your time, lending a helping hand, or showing up for a cause that matters.
We're grateful to have been part of Boise's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk and to everyone who helped make the event possible.
