Recent Instagram Updates!

Instagram Reels Bonus Play:

Instagram Reels Play is an invite-only bonus program that lets you earn money on your reels content. If you are invited, you will receive a pop-up notification and an invite that appears within your Professional Dashboard in the Instagram App.


To see if you are eligible, log into Instagram and follow these steps:

  1. Go to your profile.

  2. Tap “View Professional Dashboard” at the top of your profile.

  3. Scroll down and tap “Bonuses.”

  4. Tap “Get Started” to see your status and available bonuses.


New Instagram Maps Update:

The new map allows users to save their searches in a collection and share locations with other Instagrammers, as well. Using location stickers on posts and Stories will add that content to the search results on the new map, as long as your profile is public.


To use the new Instagram search map, simply search for a city or a nearby location:

  • Once you are on the Map zoom out and click Search this area

  • The search results will bring local businesses categorized by their industry or type

  • You can click on Hotels, Cafes, etc


Instagram Subscriptions New Features

Instagram subscriptions are the newest feature that enables creators to monetize from Instagram. This feature offers exclusive content and benefits to their most engaged followers at a monthly subscription fee. Creators can now add a button on their profile that allows their followers to buy a monthly subscription.


Now, Instagram announced new updates and an extension of Subscriptions. Here is what’s new:

  • Subscriber Chats – ability to invite subscribers to a group chat

  • Subscriber Reels – option to post Instagram Reels for subscribers only

  • Subscriber Posts – option to post Instagram Reels for subscribers only

  • Subscriber Home – new tab in the profile for all content available only to subscribers.


Support Amber Alerts on Instagram:

Instagram is launching Amber Alerts in 25 countries around the world. If you are in an area where a child is missing, you will see an Amber Alert.


The Alert includes:

  • A photo of the missing child

  • Details about the missing child

  • Contact details to report any information about the child
